The house

As we said on the last page everything has gone so fast really but we wanted it that way if the truth be known. whilst waiting for the house to complete we were supposed to be catching up on our new language as we can speak a little but only tourist French really, the completion for the house only took 3 weeks so when we finally move over one of us will be taking a course in French.

 Anyway  below are some pictures of our new retreat. We have a lot of work ahead but hopefully it will all be worth it, the main key points for wanting this house so much was Cassie !! no I am only joking, but this was the first house we saw don't get me wrong it didn't tick all the boxes we originally wanted something a bit bigger with more land but when looking at larger properties on our budget I don't think we could have afforded to complete the house without borrowing money which we didn't want to do.

 Also it has mains drainage so no need for a septic tank or (fosse septique) See I am learning already. Also it has electricity  water and Telephone connected which are a big plus and a newish roof, so what else have we got.

Finally got the caravan to the house and sat perfect, now we can really get to work on the house without coming back every few days at last
